Welcome to Katie Manton Photography! I am so excited you have come to view my site. I am an on-location, natural light portrait Photographer in the Raleigh/Wake Forest area.
I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC and although I always thought that one day I’d move far away, I now live in Rolesville, NC (about 20 minutes away) with my wonderful husband, and our 4 children, Madison (10) Laynie (7) Cullen (4) and Makenna (1).
A little about me…I am a busy body, I love my Peloton, I love music, especially if it is played really loudly and you can sing and dance to it!, I love when my house is freshly cleaned and I have candles burning that make the whole house smell yummy, I love the sunshine and a 75 degree day, I love the sound of my daughter’s voice and hearing her laugh as I know she loves everything life has to give. I love the smell of a newborn baby. I love watching my babies grow up together and become best friends.
I graduated from UNCW! I stay home now with my babies after working for 7 years after college. I genuinely love spending time with my family. I am constantly following them around with my camera, and thank goodness they have become used to it, that it doesn’t bother them anymore! I absolutely love photography and the feeling I get when I capture a single moment, making time stand still, forever. I always knew time flew by, but ever since my first daughter was born, woah!, it really does pass us by and no matter how much we want it to slow down…it doesn’t. Photography is the only way I have found to actually stop a moment in time allowing you to keep that moment forever.
